At Everyday Curtains, sustainability isn’t just a feature, it’s a foundation. From reducing textile waste to reimagining how curtains are made and repurposed, we’re always looking for meaningful ways to turn excess into impact. That’s why we’re proud to collaborate with Beeyarnd, the contemporary fibre art studio led by Alicia C. Kirwan, on The Morning Glow, a sculptural fibre piece inspired by the journey of upcycled materials and the emotional textures of life.
A Curtain Story Retold in Fibre
The Morning Glow is a fibre art sculpture handmade by Alicia through Beeyarnd, a studio known for its slow, meditative textile works. This piece reflects the duality within all of us, resilience and softness and is crafted from reclaimed materials, including curtain offcuts donated by Everyday Curtains.
Rather than discarding fabric remnants, we redirected them into the hands of an artist whose work champions conscious making. The result is a thoughtful dialogue between material and meaning, industrial strength and delicate warmth, mirroring the same philosophy behind our sustainable curtains.

From Waste to Wonder: Giving Curtains a Second Life
Everyday Curtains is committed to minimising our environmental impact through smarter production and textile circularity. By partnering with Beeyarnd, we found a way to extend the lifecycle of our materials. What might have once been considered factory waste: cotton yarns, curtain trimmings, rope is now reborn as art.
In The Morning Glow, these elements are latch-hooked by hand to form a soft halo around a flowing steel structure. It’s a reminder that sustainability doesn’t have to compromise aesthetics, it can define it.
Where Art, Home, and Sustainability Meet
The sculpture is designed to complement a range of interior styles including minimalist, Wabi-sabi, and modern spaces—much like our curtains. Whether placed in a living room, home office, or bedroom, The Morning Glow serves as a meditative focal point, echoing the same values of softness, intentionality, and warmth we bring to every curtain we create.
This collaboration with Beeyarnd is a reflection of what we believe in: that beauty and responsibility can co-exist in both art and everyday living.
